Ibex Rampant was a BattleMech equipped, pro-Directorate, terrorist organization that wanted to reinstate the Directorate.[1]

History

Ibex Rampant had been all but eradicated during Operation RESTORED HOPE, but on 8 October 3026, the Rampart Company received intel from Lord Alexander Madeira that pointed House Davion forces that were operating illegally in the Capellan Confederation system of Hurik were arming local rebel groups with advanced weaponry in an effort to foment internal conflict and destabilize the region, and that among those rebel groups were the remnants of Ibex Rampant.

Rampart Company assumed the identity of the Wolves of Joppa and send two lances Hurik aboard an unmarked DropShip. Once there, they located the rebel camp, they attacked it and were able to crush the rebels, in the process, Farida "Apex" Lamb killed the rebel leader of Ibex Rampart in his Awesome, and they took it as salvage.[2]

The advanced equipment and the Davion advisor were given to forces from McCarron's Armored Cavalry.[3]
