Clarinda Stiles was a WarShip commander of Clan Smoke Jaguar during the last days of the Clan.[1] [2]

History

In 3060, Clarinda Stiles commanded the Liberator-class CSJ Korat, the largest WarShip to escape from the Smoke Jaguar occupation zone. The Korat was fleeing the Inner Sphere along with CSJ Azov and CSJ Ripper, as well as several JumpShips carrying ground forces cobbled together from the survivors of many units. The fleet was under the overall command of Galaxy Commander Hang Mehta of the Delta Galaxy, and was on its way to Huntress for refit and reorganization when Lincoln Osis informed Mehta of its invasion by Task Force Serpent and ordered her to retake the planet.[1]

On 19 March 3060, the fleet arrived at the Huntress zenith point. Upon arrival, Mehta ordered all DropShips to detach and accompanied them toward the planet's surface, leaving Star Commodore Clarinda Stiles in command of the fleet. As Stiles engaged the naval assets from Task Force Serpent, she was injured but refused to surrender, preferring to die fighting. The Cameron-class Invisible Truth and the Whirlwind-class Fire Fang destroyed the Korat with Stiles aboard.[2]
