Kincha is a much sought-after delicacy. Following the loss of the Kincha homeworld Shuen Wan to the Free Worlds League at some point between 2990 and 3025,[1] the Capellan Confederation tried to grow the fruit on other worlds but had no success.[2] By 3026 Maximilian Liao considered the consumption of Kincha fruits tantamount to betrayal.[2]
The Kincha fruit is plum-sized, with a thick, gold-brown peel[2] which is also described as blue-green[3] (possibly on the inside). They have white, bean-sized pits.[3] Kincha fruit flesh is described as tasting "sweet". It is implied it might cause a mild addiction.
