The Twenty-seventh Royal CAAN Marine Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army. It was one of the SLDF's Royal units, which consisted of troops from the Terran Hegemony.
History
In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the LXIV Corps, Eighteenth Army, to the Periphery Military Region. In 2765 the Twenty-seventh was stationed on Port Krin, a world that was to be the base of operations for future expansion into the Periphery. The Twenty-seventh garrisoned many Terran Hegemony and Department of Mega-Engineering facilities on the world.[1]
Later it was moved to an undisclosed area of the Periphery by 2765, to take part in the Periphery Uprising.[2]The 27th was destroyed during the Hegemony Campaign.[2]
