History
The Sixth Hesperus Guards were stationed on Canonbie in 2765. Formerly the Sixth Tamar Marines, they were known for their skill as a cadre unit. They placed a new soldier in a lance or platoon of veterans for training, rather than keeping all the new troops together. This training patter proved reliable and effective.[1]
