Overview
The Eighty-first BattleMech Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History
In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the XV Corps, Fifteenth Army, to District 2 of the Draconis Combine Military Region but was moved to an undisclosed area of the Periphery to take part in the Periphery Uprising by 2765.[1]. The 81st survived the war and the Hegemony Campaign, and followed General Aleksandr Kerensky on the Exodus in 2784.[1]
Composition
As an SLDF BattleMech Division the 81st would have been composed with two Brigades of 'Mech regiments and one brigade of Mechanized Infantry regiments.[2]
