History

Post Invasion

The Fifty-first arrived in the Inner Sphere after the Truce of Tukayyid.[1]

In April 3053, the Fifty-first attacked Trell I with the intention of stopping Jade Falcon raids that originated from there. On landing, the Fifty-first found no trace of their opponents, the Eighth PGC, and subsequently walked into an ambush.[1]

This triggered a four-day long battle that ended in a Steel Viper victory, but at the cost of serious casualties.

As of 3061 the Commanding Officer was Star Colonel Greg Mathews, who had been in command since at least 3058.[1]

Tactics

The cluster is expierenced in the use of the Viper's Maw tactic and can fight also in conjunction with the other cluster of the galaxy effectly.[1]
