He soon learned than reality was muchg different of what he expected, and his small 'Mech didn't help him much to be recruited, and his limited discipline didn't make him impress potential recruiters. He meet a ''Carlyle'', implied to be the famous Grayson Carlyle, but Leonidas think he was too young, and didn't took him seriously. And as he wasn't able to sday why he wanted to be a MechWarrior didn't help him much.
