The Odysseus was an Isegrim-class DropShip operated by Clan Jade Falcon.

History[edit]

After the Clan's effective annihilation in the Battle of Terra in 3151, the Odysseus became part of the Clan Jade Falcon Remnants on Sudeten. It was still there when Clan Hell's Horses forces arrived, assaulting the planet in the Battle of Sudeten.[1]

As the Falcon's leader on Sudeten, Khan Jiyi Chistu, felt he could not win in an open fight, and that the attackers didn't respect Chistu's people, refusing to treat them as a real Clan, he opted against a conventional battle and the Odysseus became a key part of his defense. The DropShip was placed at Hammarr's spaceport, apparently crashed and lifeless. The attacking Horses unit, the Fifth Horde, saw its darkened hull. After a few volleys against it that failed to provoke a reaction and after two trucks of engineers escaped from it, considered the ship abandoned and ignored it, advancing around it.[1]

Once the Falcons' and Horses' forces engaged, Odysseus opened fire with their weaponry against the Hell's Horses forces around it, using portable generators to power the weapons on the powered-down vessel. Their first volley stunned the Fifth Horde, the second destroyed a full binary of 'Mechs and tanks. The Falcons' First Falcon Sentinels charged over the Horses, forcing them into retreat. The Horses massed fire against the Odysseus, totally destroying the ship, but by then they had already lost almost a full Cluster in the battle.[1]
