History[edit]
The Gak's Revenge (owned by Johansson Solberg) was a JumpShip (of unknown class) that misjumped into the Crimond system. The investigation team that landed on Crimond found a world with plentiful gemstones, mineral and metal ores, precious metals, and large petroleum reserves. The soil, however, was very nitrogen-poor and filled with minerals toxic to most crops. Despite this, colonization efforts were successful and as late as 3067 the inhabitants enjoyed a standard of living that rivaled any in the Lyran Commonwealth.[1]
