Malcolm Kurita sometimes misspelt as "Malcom" Kurita was the (civilian) District Governor of the Rasalhague Military District until the time of his death.[1] The position of Rasalhague District Governor would notably have been a superordinate position over Duke Hassid Ricol.

Following the failed assassination attempt of Takashi Kurita on Rasalhague involving the DropShip Startreader, Rasalhague Governor Ottar Sjovold was executed and Malcolm Kurita was appointed his successor (while the treacherous Marcus Kurita was promoted from District Warlord to a glory assignment on Luthien where the Coordinator could keep him on a short leash, and replaced by Ivan Sorenson). At the time, Malcolm Kurita was already considered "old and sickly".[2]

By ca. 3025 Malcolm had died and his son Mies Kurita had succeeded him as the Rasalhague District Governor.[1]
