+ Interesting to say the least. BattleMech technology does progress after all. A few things though. Does the Ares, being specifically made for DA, even have compatible CBT stats? A 375 XL engine that gives a maximum speed of only 10 km/h is unheard of. That is a '''running''' speed of 1 in the game. That makes it a deathtrap, even the old Atlas can get up to 50 km/h. Following the rules it means the 'Mech is more than 375 tons in mass. Or maybe tripods have a speed modifier of some sort. Is there any more data on the Ares? Manufacturer, BV, and the like?

+ I know WizKids have been designing 'Mechs that don't follow CBT construction rules, but this is a bit of a jump. [[User:Haruspex|Haruspex]] 06:22, 13 January 2008 (CST)
