It is unknown if Sinclair was punished later by his new defeat. However, it doesn't appear to be the case; after returning to the Homeworlds, a new Cluster was created merging the 51ts and 94th Battle Cluster remains, and Sinclair was put at his command.<ref>''Field Manual: Updates'', p. 67</ref>

In the end, he was most likely killed during his Clan's annihilation during the Wars of Reaving.
