Born on [[Tukayyid]] in [[3051]], and raised in the shattered post [[Clan Invasion]] Free Rasalhague Republic, Igmar grew up distrusting [[mercenaries]] and the [[Clan]]s. Following the sack of his homeworld by the [[Word of Blake]], his hatred extended to the Blakists and even [[ComStar]], and he joined the [[KungsArmé]] in [[3068]] with hopes of driving them both from his nation. In the KungsArmé his physical strength and skill earned him a place as a battle armor trooper in the 1st Tyr.
