[[MechWarrior (rank)|MechWarrior]] Hafnar's sanity was a member of some debate among the Ghost Bears. The large, bearded man carried a battleax inside his 'Mech cockpit, learned Nose specifically so he could scream curses at his enemies over open comm lines, and dedicated his kills in battle to the Norse gods. On the battlefield, he was a holy terror, as he would move into the middle of a fight before choosing a target and attacking until it was either dead or in retreat. Off the battlefield, the members of Hafnar's [[Star (Clan)|Star]] avoided him, which suited Hafnar fine.<ref name=BT:CHBS/>
