Description[edit]

Fusillade missile launchers were first designed by the Scientist Caste of Clan Coyote in 3068. Though they were originally an attempt to fully integrate the flexible Advanced Tactical Missile (ATM) system with ProtoMechs, the scientists were forced to make many sacrifices to fit the launchers into the cramped confines of their testbed. The Fusillade retains some of the flexibility of its predecessors; it is able to load all standard ATM and even Improved Advanced Tactical Missile (iATM) Magnetic Pulse and Inferno rounds, but carries only a single reload.[1]

The launchers were tested on the Hobgoblin ProtoMech [3], but never evolved beyond the prototype stage. The destruction of the Society's Tamaron research facility in 3075 ended the Fusillade program[1]

Fusillade launchers mount an integral Artemis IV system. As a missile weapon, they do not generate heat when mounted on ProtoMechs (the only unit type that may mount the launcher). They may use all ATM and iATM ammunition. The launcher is loaded with one 3-missile salvo. It carries a single reload, which need not be the same type of missile as the first.

Fusillade launchers are Experimental equipment, and have an availability rating of (F/X-X-F).[1]
