By 3067, Bithinian Ballistics was the Capellan Confederation's largest producer of autocannons for BattleMechs and other combat units. They had held this title since the Second Succession War.[1]

Overview[edit]

Bithinian Ballistics chose to build its autocannon factory alongside a large refinery. While convenient for production, it made for awkward defense. The refinery complex was extensive and reinforced enough to make an ideal base for any invader wanting to take the nearby ballistics plant.[2] Security for the facility often called upon whatever front-line troops were on the world to augment their defenses.[3]

CEO Mandrissa Elaine Jackson acquired the plans for LB-X Autocannons in 3051 from Myrdon Automatic Weaponry and later the Ultra AC/10 from Imperator Corporation.[1]

During the Jihad, the facility on Bithinia suffered no losses of capital and personnel, and was at full production in 3079.[4]
