Description[edit]

The ComStar Command Level II is a collection of six plastic miniatures for use in the classic BattleTech tabletop and Alpha Strike games. The box also provides six dry-erase cards, which are intended to directly support Alpha Strike gameplay, and six new Pilot Cards.

The ComStar Command Level II was created as a part of the Clan Invasion Kickstarter 2019, as a stretch goal available at US$1,000,000. The ComStar Command Level II was available as a backer reward, and also as an add-on option, costing US$30 per pack. The six 'Mechs available in the lance pack are the Black Knight, Exterminator, Highlander, King Crab, Mercury and Sentinel.

When originally advertised as a stretch goal, the ComStar Command Level II originally contained a Hermes 'Mech instead of a Sentinel. Catalyst Game Labs ran a consultation exercise with current backers of the Kickstarter during the campaign on the contents of the various miniatures packs, and as a result of that process, a number of ForcePacks were removed or saw their contents change. The ComStar Command Lance II was one of those packs to change, as it was felt that the Hermes 'Mech—a signature 'Mech of the Free Worlds League rather than the Star League Defense Force—didn't fit the theme of the pack.
