The Andromeda was a Star League JumpShip of unspecified class.

The ship's wrecked hull was found by professional salvage prospector Pedro Ellingsen at some point in or shortly prior to 3025, and made him rich and popular.[1] It was not specified what exactly made the wreck so valuable.
Even as of 3072, the find of the Andromeda was still used as a metaphor for a fantastically valuable find in a "winning the lottery" fashion.[2]
